Serious incident outside popular Bristol restaurant

Several emergency vehicles descended in Brislington this evening.

Photographs from the scene shows one ambulance, two rapid response vehicles and three incidence vans at the Paintworks Central Trading Estate.

It's believed emergency crews first arrived at the venue at around 9pm today (August 10).

A witness told Bristol Live she believed a wedding was taking place when a guest became unwell.

It is believed the incident did not take place at Boca Bar, but at an events space nearby.

The witness, who wished not to be named, said: "Can hear more sirens on the way.

"Multiple paramedics are here, one ambulance, two rapid response and three incidence response.

"There’s a wedding here and lots of guests leaving crying."

We have contacted South Western Ambulance Service for a comment.

Boca Bar have also declined to comment at this stage.
