Serious house blaze part of busy night of incidents for firefighters

Firefighters in Bristol had to deal with an array of calls last night leading to a busy night. Southmead Fire Station responded to several building fires, a van on fire, a house fire with a person trapped and a road traffic collision with a person trapped.

The White Watch team have since handed over to the Red Watch team but confirmed previously that there were no serious injuries reported from the several incidents.

One house fire, in particular, saw the bedroom burnt to a crisp with just the springs on the bed barely surviving while stereo systems and walls look completely charcoaled.
