A busy road has been closed and will remain so "for a number of hours" following a serious crash.
The Gurnos ring road in Merthyr Tydfil was shut following the crash close to the junction for Pen Y Dre School on Sunday night.
The Air Ambulance was called to the scene of the incident, which was reported shortly after 6pm on Sunday.
South Wales Police tweeted shortly before 8pm on Sunday and said: "We are at the scene of a serious road traffic collision on the Gurnos ring road at the junction of Pen Y Dre School. The road is closed and will be for a number of hours. Please avoid the area."
A spokesman for the Welsh Ambulance Service confirmed it had a large presence at the scene of the incident which they were called out to at 6.08pm.
The spokesman said the Air Ambulance was brought in to assist and three Welsh Ambulance Service response cars and an ambulance attended the scene of the incident. The service cleared the scene at 7.55pm and the spokesman said nobody was taken to hospital and any further information would be provided by police.
