A crash involving a truck towing a Mercedes and a large van closed part of a busy bypass.
The A473 Church Village bypass between Llantrisant Road and Heol Creigiau was closed in both directions following the incident but has since reopened. The crash happened at around 10.30am. Police confirmed a truck that was towing a Mercedes car and a large van collided with another car. The road was reopened just before 2pm.
Photos show that the tow truck and the vehicles attached have overturned and smashed through the side barrier.
Recovery of the vehicles involved took place and the crash caused delays and queuing traffic in the area as traffic police directed traffic in the area. A spokesman for South Wales Police said no-one was seriously injured in the crash.
