Serious concerns for welfare of missing Canberra man

Police have serious concerns for the welfare of a missing Canberra man who suffers from a serious medical condition.

Police said they needed urgent help to find missing 41-year-old man Andrew Moorby.

Mr Moorby was last seen in Bruce about 11.40am Friday.

"He is described as Caucasian in appearance, with a slim build, and brown hair. He was last seen wearing a blue, zip-up Kathmandu jacket and dark pants," police said in a statement.

"He is known to frequent the Dickson shops. Police hold serious concerns for Andrew's welfare, and are requesting the public's assistance to locate him. Andrew suffers from a serious medical condition, and requires urgent treatment."

They asked anyone who had seen Mr Moorby or who had information about where he is to call 131 444, quoting reference number 6618433.
