Serious concerns for missing Canberra man

Police and family have serious concerns about the welfare of a Canberra man missing since Friday night.

Richard Lanigan, 41, was last seen about 8pm in Nicholls.

He was described as of Caucasian appearance, about 178cm (5'10") tall, with grey/dark brown hair, brown eyes, and of medium build. He was last wearing black jeans and a dark shirt.

"Police and Richard's family hold serious concerns for his welfare and are requesting the public's assistance in locating him," police said in a statement.

"He may be driving a white 2005 Isuzu tipper truck with NSW registration XN68ON."

Anyone who caan help police find Mr Lanigan should contact ACT Policing on 131 444 and quote reference number 6538945.
