Police have released two CCTV images after a serious assault in Glasgow's south side.
The attack took place on Cathcart Road, near to the Brazen Head, around 1.20am on December 27.
Police describe the man pictured in the images as being between 45-50 years old, wearing a khaki coloured parka style jacket with blue jeans and tan coloured boots.
Anyone with information is asked to come forward.
Detective Constable Siobhan McKenna of Cathcart Police Station said: “I would urge the male, or anyone who has information relating to the male, depicted in the images to make contact with the police."
