Achraf Lazaar is attracting interest from Serie A side Fiorentina.
The left-sided player has been left out of Newcastle United’s Premier League squad but is weighing up offers, including proposals from Utrecht and Hellas Verona.
However, Fiorentina would be an exciting opportunity for Lazaar if the Serie A side can strike a deal with Newcastle.
The Florence club have just signed French legend Franck Ribery after his release from Bayern Munich.
Lazaar would have no issues moving back to Italy where he was a hit with Palermo.
Steve Bruce left him out of his squad with a heavy heart last week, and said: “I had Achraf and Rolando Aarons last season at Sheff Wed so it was a difficult decision.”
Lazaar is contracted to United until 2021.
