A 'serial racist Karen' who was filmed spewing hate in multiple rants has died after she stepped out into traffic and was hit by a fire truck.
Rachel Dawn Ruit, from North Carolina, died on Tuesday the day after she was seriously injured in the incident which police believe are treating as an accident.
According to an eyewitness Ruit was hit by an Asheville Fire Department pickup truck after stepping in front of traffic.
A black woman, who remains unidentified, was seen praying over her and begging God for her life to spared while paramedics administered first aid.
The witness wrote on Facebook : "There were over a dozen bystanders that had come to see what was going on.

"And then there was one lady who was praying out loud & I mean praying very intensely...begging God to please let this lady survive.
"And that one person was the Black lady standing right in front of me in this picture.
"Praying & praying & praying and in tears for coincidentally the same woman how was yelling the N word with such hatred in her hear. Just saying'."
Ruit, 41, had been filmed several times repeatedly shouting the N-word and also allegedly attacking a woman in a hijab and a black teenage girl.

Karimah, whose hijab she allegedly ripped off, tweeted: “Less than two hours ago, #WhiteSupremacist #RachelRuit ripped my #hijab off, bit my face and beat a Black teen girl after yelling racial slurs. When I tried to pull her off the Black child, other racists jumped in."
Ernesta Carter, told the Citizen-Times she was taking part in a Black Lives Matter protest when she heard Ruit tell the black teenager she needed to be “put down” and if she fought back, she “would be raped.”
She claimed that Ruit grabbed the girl’s groin.
Ruit was arrested July 4 and charged with simple assault, disorderly conduct and second-degree trespassing.
The term "Karen" is used in the US for an entitled white woman.
Previous women in the US who were called a 'Karen' includes Amy Cooper who called the police on a black birdwatcher after he asked to keep her dog on a leash in a lead-only area.
The 41-year-old was filmed telling officers on the phone that an ‘African American man was threatening’ her after 57-year-old Christian Cooper spoke to her.
