Serial killer Dennis Nilsen's sick 34-page memoir of killings up for sale on Amazon

A ghoulish memoir by serial killer Dennis Nilsen can be downloaded from Amazon.

Warped followers are flocking to obtain the 34-page text of his ramblings.

It is titled Psychograph and was written in 1993 while he was serving life for his murder rampage in Muswell Hill, North London.

The manuscript describes the death of his first victim and was banned from release before he died in 2018.

It was issued as a web download by a true crime fanatic named Rory Everett, who says it is a “direct scan” from the 1993 writings by Nilsen.

Fans can read it on computers or other gadgets if they join the £7.99-a-month subscription service Kindle Unlimited, an arm of the web retail giant.

Its availability comes weeks after it emerged that Nilsen’s autobiography, History of a Drowning Boy, would be published – despite pleas from victims’ families and an earlier Home Office ban.

A source said: “It’s astonishing that his writings have been released.

"They will cause great pain to the relatives of those people he killed.”

Nilsen was given an upgraded whole-life sentence after he admitted murdering at least 15 men and boys in the 1970s and 80s.

In Psychograph, referring to himself in the third person, he wrote: “He felt like a murderer and became fitfully depressed and tearful at acts he regarded as the worst things he had ever done in his life.”

In 2011 the European Court of Human Rights dismissed his claim that his writings “stimulated much academic and medical debate”.
