Sergio Reguilon appears to drop huge Man Utd transfer hint with Instagram update

Sergio Reguilon has apparently dropped a hint that a move to Manchester United is just around the corner - at least that's what fans following him on Instagram believe.

The Sevilla defender has emerged as a top target for the Red Devils, who recently got a deal for Holland midfielder Donny van de Beek over the line.

Manchester United are short at left-back going into the new season with both Luke Shaw and Brandon Williams out of action with ankle injuries.

And it seems Reguilon, who spent last season on loan at Sevilla from Real Madrid, may be the answer to the club's problem.

At least that's what many believe after he seemingly dropped a hint on social media that his future in football may be away from Spain.

Reguilon used to have reference to both Sevilla and his parent club in his Instagram bio.

However, since being linked with a move to Manchester United, the Spaniard has removed this detail, replacing his bio with an image of a football and a heart.

Of course, it means very little in the grand scheme of things, but some fans believe it is an indication that he is set to leave Real Madrid.

United fans also recently noticed that Reguilon and Mason Greenwood have started following each other on social media.

Suggesting it is a sign United will sign the Spaniard, one fan asked: "Very weird one to explain that, how do you make sense of Mason following Sergio, without the potential transfer cloud hanging around it?"

Another said: "It's happening, lets go." And a third wrote: "It means he's coming soon."
