Sergio Reguilon admits Sergio Ramos transfer talks as Tottenham handed Tanguy Ndombele boost

Here's all the news from around the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium over the past 24 hours.

Reguilon trying to convince Ramos to join Spurs

Tottenham left-back Sergio Reguilon has claimed he is trying to convince Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos to join Spurs.

Ramos' contract in the Spanish capital is set to expire at the end of the season and the defender has been linked with a move to Spurs, amongst others.

Reguilon - who moved from Madrid to Jose Mourinho's side over the summer - has cheekily said he will attempt to convince his former team-mate to move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

He told Spanish newspaper AS: "I think it will work out eventually. For Madrid and Sergio. Seen from the outside, I don’t see a Madrid without Ramos.

Spurs unhappy with postponement

Spurs were due to be in action last night against their London rivals, but due to a Covid-19 outbreak in Scott Parker's squad, the game was called off on Wednesday afternoon.

Spurs stars will benefit from postponed game

Tottenham are back in action on Saturday afternoon, following their game against Fulham being called off.

Despite it being bad news for supporters, who of course want to see their team in action, it could be good for some players.

Eric Dier has played 19 games in all competitions for Spurs this season and deserves somewhat of a rest.

Likewise, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Son Heung-min, and Harry Kane.

Another one that can be considered is Tanguy Ndombele - with Mourinho admitting that it was difficult for the Frenchman to complete 90 minutes at the moment.
