Sergio Ramos has warned Real Madrid he is "going to die" for Paris Saint-Germain when the two sides meet in the Champions League.
The Spaniard won the prestigious competitions four times - three times as captain - during his time at the Bernabeu.
Ramos is one of the greatest players in the club's history after making 671 appearances and lifting 22 trophies.
He was surprisingly released by Real after 16 years of service last summer, allowing him to join PSG.
Ramos has struggled with injuries since, playing just once, but is now fit and raring to lead the French club to their maiden Champions League title.

"Fate is capricious," said the defender, as quoted by Spanish outlet Marca. "I would have liked another team to have played us.
"You know the affection and love I have for Real Madrid. Now it's my turn to defend PSG and I'll do everything possible to pass.
"It's the team that bet on me. I'm going to go to death for PSG."
Discussing his injury problems, Ramos added: "It has been hard, different from what I have experienced in my career. Injuries have always respected me.
"To feel like a player again is the important thing. Many hours of darkness, loneliness, but it has helped me to overcome challenges.
"It has helped me to know who were really there and who were not. There will be Ramos for a while. The family is already well adapted. I smile again, to compete again."
Ramos was controversially left out of Spain's squad for Euro 2020, despite declaring his fitness and manager Luis Enrique calling up just 24 players to his 26-man squad.
Despite this, the 35-year-old - who's already won 180 senior caps - hasn't given up hope of representing his country again.
"I want to play regularly again and then it will be Luis Enrique who decides," he said. "Of course I want to return to the national team."
Rumours last month suggested PSG were considering terminating Ramos' contract due to his injury woes, although these were dismissed by the French club.
The defender insists he's not interested in speculation and just wants to focus on helping PSG be successful.

"I do not listen much to what is said, both in Spain and in France, I have always done it," he said when asked about his critics.
"You have to respect everything that is said but what is said is not always true. Entering into that is wasting time, I don't speculate on things.
"The good thing is that I'm back and I'll be able to speak again."
Ramos was also quizzed on Kylian Mbappe's future. The PSG striker is out of contract at the end of the season and has been linked with a move to Real.
"I want to be surrounded by the best and Kylian is a key piece, in the current PSG and in the future, it is not known what could happen but I want Kylian in my team."
