Sergio Ramos has put rivalry to one side to claim he would love to play with Barcelona star Lionel Messi at Real Madrid.
The two players have been on-pitch enemies for almost 20 years, and have clashed during games on a number of occasions.
But there is doubt over whether either of the two legendary figures will be at their respective clubs next season, with both their contracts set to expire in the summer.
Despite their scraps in their past, Ramos clearly has a grudging respect for the man many consider to be the greatest player of all time.
And when asked in an interview with YouTuber Ibai whether he would be happy with Messi at the Bernabeu, Ramos did not hesitate in his response.

"Would I accept Messi in Madrid? 100 per cent," Ramos said. "I would be delighted to have Messi at Madrid. I would even make room for him in my house if necessary!
"We have had to suffer against him in his best years. Not having him in front of me to deal with would be good. I would like to see him at Madrid."
However, when the shoe was put on the other foot and Ramos was asked if he would ever make a switch to Barcelona, he replied: "Some things money can't buy. It's impossible."
Ramos would not be drawn on whether his long stay in Madrid will be extended at the end of the season.
And when asked about his future he simply said: "At the moment I am happy that I will return to play and will be able to help my team-mates on the field.

"I am just thinking of finishing the season and winning the title with the team."
Madrid currently sit in third place in La Liga, and are two points behind Barca and eight behind leaders Atletico Madrid.
They next face Elche on Saturday before the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie against Serie A club Atalanta.
