Sergio Ramos invites UFC star Conor McGregor to join Real Madrid training session after sharing skills online

Conor McGregor has accepted Sergio Ramos' invitation to come and train with the Real Madrid squad.

The two-weight UFC champion and Real Madrid captain have struck up an unlikely friendship with the latter sharing a video of himself imitating the Dubliner's famous 'Billionaire Strut' after lashing home a training ground goal.

McGregor responded by sharing a video of him finding the back of the net in a low-key kickabout, writing on Instagram: Who do you think, Sergio Ramos?"

The Spain international responded: "Class mate! Fancy a training session at Real Madrid?"

McGregor accepted the offer, writing back: "My brother, thank you! The next time I am in Madrid I would be honoured."

McGregor returned to the octagon after a 15-month absence in January, taking apart Donald 'Cowboy' Cerrone inside 40 seconds.

But the former featherweight and lightweight champion went on to announce his retirement from MMA in June, insisting he is ‘bored of the game’.
