Sergio Ramos is preparing to host the 'wedding of the year' this weekend - but his former team-mate of nine years, Cristiano Ronaldo , reportedly won't be among the star-studded guests.
The Real Madrid defender and long-term partner Pilar Rubio, who is a Spanish television presenter, will tie the knot at the famous Seville cathedral this weekend.
Ramos has enjoyed a trophy-laden spell with Madrid, so you'd expect the biggest names in football and showbiz to be attending the huge event.
David Beckham, who played alongside Ramos for the Spanish giants, will attend as will Barcelona rival and international team-mate Gerard Pique.
But, according to Marca , Ronaldo, the former Madrid superstar who played with Ramos for nine years, has not made the cut.
The Spanish report goes on to suggest that the fall-out occurred following Ronaldo's switch from Madrid to Juventus last summer.
The former Manchester United forward opted to quit the Bernabeu prior to the start of last season after winning three successive Champions League crowns.
It is claimed that Ramos and his soon-to-be wife have invited 500 guests to their wedding which has been dubbed 'the wedding of the year' in Spain.
AC/DC, the Australian rock band, have been booked to performed at the after-party which is set to cost the couple close to £900,000.
Along with Beckham and Pique, it has also been claimed that current Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane and club president Florentino Perez will attend.
And it is also understood that Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas will hopefully make an appearance, though that remains unclear following the heart attack he suffered.
