Sergio Aguero starts as Man City fans name three changes they want to see vs Chelsea

Manchester City welcome Chelsea to the Etihad Stadium on Saturday evening in what will be a dress rehearsal of the Champions League final later this month.

City and the west London club booked their places in the final on May 29 after wins over Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid respectively earlier in the week.

Manager Pep Guardiola could make a host of changes after what was a gruelling 90 minutes for his side on Tuesday night, but at the same time, the Spaniard may be tempted to play his strongest team to see how they fare against Thomas Tuchel's men ahead of the bigger match later this month.

Now, City fans have chosen the team they want Guardiola to opt with when the two sides come head-to-head this evening.

Using MEN Sport's interactive team selector, the most popular team picked by fans sees outgoing club legend Sergio Aguero lead the line, with Riyad Mahrez and Phil Foden either side of the Argentine striker.

Then it's a midfield trio of Rodri, Ilkay Gundogan and Kevin De Bruyne, with 36-year-old Fernandinho getting a well-deserved rest after his midweek exploits against PSG.

Kyle Walker, Ruben Dias, Aymeric Laporte and Oleksandr Zinchenko are the back four City supporters are going with and Ederson behind them. John Stones (suspended) and Bernardo Silva drop out along with Fernandinho.

Man City fans XI vs Chelsea: Ederson, Walker, Dias, Laporte, Zinchenko, Rodri, Gundogan, De Bruyne, Foden, Mahrez, Aguero.

Chelsea, like City, could make some changes from the team that beat Real Madrid at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday evening.

Tuchel hasn't been shy of making wholesale changes to his side since replacing Frank Lampard in the Blues' dugout earlier this year.
