Sergio Aguero shows why he is a Man City great with Liverpool FC message

Striker Sergio Aguero has told Liverpool that Man City will 'fight until the very end' regardless of what happens at Anfield on Sunday.

The two sides will face off in a blockbuster match in which many are calling a potential Premier League title decider, even though only a third of the season has been played.

It's unsurprising as the result could have massive ramifications for the rest of the season and is an almost must win for the Blues if they are to retain the title for a third successive season.

Liverpool currently have a six point advantage at the top of the table which they could extend to nine should they win and considering they've hardly dropped any points over the last two seasons it may be a gap too big to climb.

But should City win they would halve the deficit to just three points going into the busiest part of the season - in which the Reds will also compete in the Club World Cup - and could turn the momentum back in their favour.

There is a lot at stake and Aguero has issued a stirring war cry before the encounter.

“You know what I’ve always said, we’ll fight until the very end," the Argentine told Man City.

“It’s my personal philosophy and a motto of this football club.

“We’ve made it abundantly clear last year, holding the lead during that gruelling home stretch.

“This season didn’t start off the way we wanted it to, and some of the results we’ve had weren’t the one we set out to achieve.

“However, there’s a quite a bit of road ahead of us.

“It certainly won’t be easy, but who said it would ever be?

“We have to trust our game, give our utmost effort, and, just like usual, fight until the very end.”
