Sergio Aguero's next move confirmed as Thomas Tuchel decides three Chelsea summer transfers

Here's all the news from around Stamford Bridge over the past 24 hours.

Tuchel decides on three transfers

According to the Telegraph, Thomas Tuchel has wasted little time in putting plans for next season, informing owner Roman Abramovich of what he needs to try and take Chelsea to the next level.

The report states that the German tactician has pinpointed signing a defender, who can ideally operate down the right, a midfielder and, of course, a striker are the three areas of the team in need of being strengthened most.

As a result, Wolverhampton Wanderers ace Adama Traore and Jonas Hofmann of Borussia Monchengladbach on the list in terms of providing competition at right-wing back.

Elsewhere, it is claimed that West Ham United midfield ace Declan Rice remains at the top of Tuchel's targets for a new central-midfielder.

While Harry Kane, Erling Haaland and Romelu Lukaku are just three strikers being linked with moves to Stamford Bridge.

Best line-up if Granovskaia completes £200m triple transfer swoop

Should Marina Granovskaia grant Tuchel's wish, Chelsea will be in business next season.

Although, the Blues transfer guru would have to complete a stunning £200m triple transfer swoop in order to improve Tuchel's first-team squad.

That is taking the aforementioned report and player valuations into consideration.

But if Chelsea conclude summer deals for Traore, Rice and former striker Lukaku, what would be their strongest starting line-up, not including any other potential arrivals, next season?

Aguero joins Barcelona

One player who won't be joining Chelsea this summer is Sergio Aguero.

It was announced a few months ago that the Argentine would be leaving Manchester City following a decade of service at Etihad Stadium and was immediately linked with the Blues.

However, it has been confirmed that Aguero will be joining Barcelona to link up with Lionel Messi at the Camp Nou next season.

A statement via the La Liga giants' official website reads:

"FC Barcelona and Sergio ‘Kun’ Agüero have reached an agreement for the player to join the Club from 1 July when his contract with Manchester City expires.

"The player will sign a contract until the end of the 2022/23 season and his buy out clause is set at 100 million euros."
