Sergio Aguero not involved in full Man City training claims Argentina boss

Sergio Aguero doesn't get involved with full Manchester City training, Argentina manager Lionel Scaloni has revealed.

Striker Aguero was not included in Argentina's squad to face Germany and Ecuador during the current international break due to an unspecified injury.

The 31-year-old has scored eight goals in eight appearances this season and completed the full 90 minutes in City's last match - a 2-0 defeat to Wolves .

When asked about the damage, Scaloni explained how Aguero has been carrying an injury which has forced him to miss training sessions with Pep Guardiola this season.

“Sergio Aguero is not here because he’s been carrying a problem and has not been training 100 per cent with his club," Scaloni said.

The Argentines have also been without Lionel Messi this fortnight due to a suspension, but Scaloni expects both to return for next month's international clashes with Brazil and Paraguay.

The former West Ham defender added: "Surely both will be here next month.”

Aguero took the opportunity of a break to return to his homeland - where he was filmed singing and dancing with a cumbia band.

He is expected back at the Etihad Campus later this week, with City aiming to step up their title defence with victory over Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Guardiola is already flush with injuries to key players with Leroy Sane and Aymeric Laporte both long term lay offs.

The Spaniard is also worried about Kevin De Bruyne, Benjamin Mendy and John Stones ahead of the trip to Selhurst Park.
