Sergio Aguero is expected to have his medical at Barcelona on Monday ahead of a free transfer.
Aguero will leave Manchester City as the club's record goalscorer next month after a trophy-laden decade at the club upon the expiration of his contract.
Sadly, it wasn't a fairytale ending for the Argentine as City came up short in his final match as they lost the Champions League final to Chelsea on Saturday.
With his time in Manchester coming to an end, Aguero has wasted little time in picking a new club and is set to return to Spain with Barcelona.
The Manchester Evening News understands that the 32-year-old is expected to travel to Barcelona to complete his medical, which is set to be held on Monday morning, ahead of an official announcement of his move to the Camp Nou.
The cash-strapped Catalonians have moved quickly to snag Aguero on a free transfer, with big transfer fees seemingly out of their reach this summer.

As well as Aguero, Barca are expected to sign Blues defender Eric Garcia and have also been heavily linked with moves for Gini Wijnaldum and Memphis Depay, all of whom are out of contract this summer.
Aguero enjoyed five years in La Liga when first moving to Europa with current champions Atletico Madrid, scoring 100 goals in the capital before leaving for City in 2011.
Aguero broke his silence following the final defeat on Sunday as he tweeted: "Proud of this team and to have worn its colours for so many years. Manchester City, forever in my heart."
