Sergio Aguero is looking to leave Barcelona this summer after being denied the chance of playing with Lionel Messi, according to reports.
The Spanish club snapped up the forward for free when his Manchester City contract expired recently.
He is one of several free agents to move to the Nou Camp, but already he is looking for a way out.
Aguero has played alongside Messi on the international stage and the two enjoy a strong bond.
But after it was announced that the six-time Ballon d'Or winner will be leaving the Nou Camp Aguero feels as if he has been betrayed by the club.
The former City made has now instructed his lawyers to analyse his contract in an effort to secure an early exit, reports Betevé's 'La Porteria'.
They also add that the feeling around Agüero is that "his future at Barça does not look good".
Upon signing the striker said: "Of course I hope to play with Lionel. I know him so well, we’re good friends.
"What happens with Leo is a decision that he and the club will make. It is a pride to play with him. I’ve played with him in the national team."
Already things around Messi have progressed quickly and PSG have wasted no time in tabling an offer.
A switch to Paris is thought to be edging closer with €40m net per year offered to the Argentine.
It would also allow him to play with Neymar once more.
Barcelona's problems don't look set to end with Messi's departure as their financial issues have also prevented them from registering any of their free agents.
Leading sponsors Rakuten and Beko have asked Barcelona for explanations and reductions in their contracts, reports AS.
President Joan Laporta, having signalled his intent to keep Messi, has now claimed that keeping the striker would've jeopardised the club for half a century.
"I can't make a decision that will affect the club for 50 years," he said.
"The club is over 100 years old and it's above everyone and everything, even above the best player of the world. We will always thank him for everything he's done for us.
"In order to have fair play, we need to do this or make an effort which would put the club at risk. We couldn't keep going with this and we needed to make a decision, which we have."
