Serge Gnabry delights Arsenal fans with Tottenham taunt: 'North London is red!'

Serge Gnabry may no longer be an Arsenal player, but the Germany international has certainly not forgotten his time with the Gunners.

Gnabry spent five years at Arsenal, but failed to make the grade as was sold to Werder Bremen in 2016 in a deal worth around £5million.

However, Gnabry impressed on his return to Germany, becoming a senior international before earning a move to Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich in the summer of 2017.

The 24-year-old is now one of the key men in a new-look Bayern side, and embarrassed Tottenham as he scored a stunning four goals in a 7-2 Champions League victory at Spurs' new stadium on Tuesday evening.

The winger produced a quartet of clinical finishes after the break to send the German champions soaring clear at the top of Group B.

Gnabry took to Twitter to rub salt into the wounds of Spurs fans, posting a tweet with pictures of him celebrating his four goals with the message: "North London is RED!!!"

Speaking after the game to Sky in Germany, Gnabry referenced the north London rivalry more explicitly: "It's difficult to put this into words, winning 7-2.

"None of us would have imagined this. To have scored four goals is also an amazing feeling.

"I imagine all the Arsenal fans enjoyed that one!

"Obviously it’s great for us, we’re going to enjoy the evening."
