Here is the Tottenham Hotspur morning digest for Monday, November 23.
Pundit makes surprising Tottenham claim despite statement win over Man City
Man City will still finish higher than Tottenham Hotspur despite losing to them on Saturday, according to former Chelsea striker Tony Cascarino.
Spurs recorded an emphatic 2-0 victory against Manchester City on Saturday evening to take them top of the Premier League.
Despite that, Cascarino has backed Pep Guardiola’s men to emerge victorious across the course of the season and finish higher in the league.
"If you said to me today: 'who is going to finish higher, Manchester City or Spurs?' I would still say Manchester City because I still think there are a lot of questions to be answered by Spurs and I think Manchester City will finish above them," he told talkSPORT.
"But it's really intriguing watching Spurs develop and Jose implementing that change. He has changed quite a lot. He has changed full-backs at Tottenham, he has changed midfield players, brought in [Pierre-Emile] Hojbjerg who has done a brilliant job.
"He is doing things where he has seen what is wrong and he has tried to make them much more competitive. But there are massive challenges ahead of them."
How the Spurs dressing room reacted to Manchester City win and Toby Alderweireld injury

Goals from Son Heung-min and Giovani Lo Celso gave Spurs a brilliant victory to take them top of the Premier League table.
The only negative from Saturday’s match came in the form of an injury to Toby Alderweireld that Mourinho is hoping is only a minor problem.

Jose Mourinho and Tottenham handed Serge Aurier dilemma after Manchester City win
It was hard to find fault with Tottenham Hotspur after their 2-0 win against Manchester City.
A fantastic team performance was typified by Serge Aurier, and that has given Jose Mourinho a selection dilemma according to Colin Millar.
The former Paris Saint-Germain defender arrived at Spurs with a strong pedigree and it was seen as a shrewd piece of business by the club.
To date, the player’s time at Spurs has been defined by inconsistency and a tendency to make costly mistakes at the back. That changed against City on Saturday as he put in a mature, composed, performance.
Mourinho’s side have some major games coming up as their title credentials are tested, and it remains to be seen whether Aurier will be part of the group trusted to deliver that success to Spurs, with Matt Doherty set to return after missing out against Manchester City.
