Serge Aurier could return to the Tottenham squad for the trip to Cardiff City on New Year’s Day.
Right-back Aurier is fit again after three weeks out with a groin problem.
But Victor Wanyama, Jan Vertonghen, Mousa Dembele, Eric Dier and Erik Lamela are set to miss out again.
