Serge Aurier and Christian Eriksen tease Tanguy Ndombele following dramatic decision for 2020

Tottenham fans will notice that Tanguy Ndombele has gone for a striking new look when he takes to the pitch at Southampton on New Year’s Day.

Making his return to the team last time out in the 2-2 draw against Norwich City, the Frenchman sported his usual short hairstyle.

However, he’s decided to change things up for 2020.

The 23-year-old has elected to shave off all his hair and it has led to quite a bit of teasing from his team-mates on social media.

What to expect from Tottenham in the January transfer window

Serge Aurier posted a photo of the midfielder’s new look on his Instagram story on Friday, before then uploading a video from the changing rooms of Ndombele walking off with his gilet over his head after some of his team-mates were winding him up.

Another video soon followed from the Ivorian and it was when the midfielder was getting a massage on the treatment table at Hotspur Way.

Christian Eriksen featured in the short clip and he claimed that his team-mate looks like American comedian Karlous Miller now that he has decided to go completely bald.

While his new look is certainly different, all Spurs fans will be bothered about is how he performs on the pitch over the coming weeks.

His time in north London has certainly been mixed so far but a regular run in the team is what he needs to prove to everyone why he was signed by Mauricio Pochettino at the start of July for a club-record fee.
