Serene Russell Supports Rachel Nance Amid Racist Hate Controversy

Serene Russell supports Rachel Nance against racist hate.

Serene Russell, a former contestant of The Bachelor franchise, has shown her support for fellow Bachelor Nation member Rachel Nance after the latter received racist hate following her appearance on season 28 of the show.

In an Instagram Story post, Serene expressed her sadness over the racial and cultural attacks that Rachel had to endure. She highlighted the challenges of sharing personal thoughts and feelings on a public platform and condemned the prevalence of prejudice in society in 2024.

Having been through her own Bachelor journey, Serene commended Rachel for speaking out on the issue despite the negativity she faced. She emphasized that Rachel's identity goes beyond the hateful comments directed at her and extended her sympathy to Rachel and her family.

Following the Women Tell All episode, where Rachel opened up about the racist messages she received, Serene reposted a clip of Rachel's emotional revelation. Rachel tearfully recounted the derogatory remarks she faced after a rose ceremony, shedding light on the hurtful impact of such hate.

Responding to the backlash, Rachel defended her actions during the show and expressed disappointment over the racist comments directed at her. She emphasized the importance of standing by her words and not backing down in the face of unjust criticism.

Despite not receiving a rose from Joey Graziadei after the fantasy suite week, Rachel's experience on the show was marred by the racist attacks she endured. The Bachelor season 28 is set to conclude on ABC on Monday, March 25, at 8 p.m. ET.
