There are plenty of professional tennis players who spend their entire careers trying to win one Grand Slam title. Serena Williams, though, is the winner of 23 Grand Slam singles titles. So, as you could imagine, those wins start to blend together after a point.
In the latest edition of Architectural Digest’s “Open Door” series of celebrity home tours, Serena gave the AD cameras a look at her new home near Miami.
The house itself is spectacular. Instead of a formal living room, Serena went with an actual art gallery. The house also has a dedicated karaoke room.
But the best part of the video came when Serena arrived at the trophy room (3:18 mark).
Serena had so many trophies that she struggled to remember the years of wins, tournaments or whether she had actual Grand Slam trophies in that specific trophy room (She did!).
If a tennis player arrives at the point where she has to physically pick up the French Open trophy to confirm that it was indeed a French Open trophy that she won, you know that she’s the GOAT.
“Is this one? Yup!”
She’s won so many trophies that it was impossible to keep track.
