SentinelOne reported first quarter earnings and revenue that met Wall Street consensus estimates while the cybersecurity firm's guidance came in below expectations. SentinelOne stock tumbled on the news.
The company reported earnings for the April-ended quarter after the market close. In addition, SentinelOne said its board of directors has authorized a $200 million share repurchase program.
On an adjusted basis, SentinelOne earnings were 2 cents per share versus a 1-cent loss a year earlier.
The Mountain View, Calif.-based cybersecurity company posted revenue of $228.4 million, up 23%.
SentinelOne stock analysts predicted earnings per share of 2 cents and revenue of $228.4 million.
Meanwhile, SentinelOne said annualized recurring revenue from subscription-based products and services increased 24% to $948.1 million versus estimates of $952.3 million.
For the current quarter ending in July, SentinelOne predicted revenue of $242 million at the midpoint of guidance compared with Wall Street targets of $245 million.
On the stock market today, SentinelOne stock tumbled nearly more than 11% to 17.43 in extended trading.
In 2025, SentinelOne stock had retreated about 12% heading into the earnings report.
SentinelOne's rivals include CrowdStrike Holdings, Microsoft and Palo Alto Networks.
SentinelOne stock owns a Composite Rating of 77 out of a best-possible 99, according to IBD Stock Checkup.
