Police said Rosemy-Jacksaint was driving a black Dodge Charger that was estimated to be going 90 miles per hour in the 2600 block of Atlanta Highway at about 3:18 p.m. An officer was using a speed detection lidar on his car that was traveling eastbound on a road, according to a department spokesman on Wednesday morning.

He becomes Georgia’s fourth player to be arrested on a driving-related charge this offseason.

In March, head coach Kirby Smart said that the program brought in the Athens-Clarke County police to meet with the team about the dangers of reckless driving.

“We brought in Athens Clarke County police and UGA police to address a lot of these issues with our team in a team meeting setting,” Smart said in March.

A senior receiver out of Pompano Beach, Florida, Rosemy-Jacksaint announced his plans to return to UGA for the 2023 season in January.

A four-star member of Georgia’s 2020 recruiting class, he had his most productive season in 2022, catching 29 passes for 337 yards and two touchdowns.
