Send us your questions about coronavirus for Newcastle's public health expert

Do you have questions about coronavirus?

Whether you want to know more about council plans to contain COVID-19 , or understand what you can do to keep yourself and your family healthy, we want to answer the questions that are important to you.

With four cases of the disease now confirmed in Newcastle , and a further case in North Tyneside, many of us want to understand more about what risks the illness, first discovered in Wuhan, China, at the end of last year, actually poses.

Tomorrow, Newcastle City Council's director of public health, Professor Eugene Milne will visit Chronicle Live's offices to answer key questions from you about the new disease.

As rumours about the disease spread on Facebook, we'll help combat the spread of fear and fake news by speaking directly with an expert.

Comment below with your questions, and we'll put them to Prof Milne in a live video, which we will stream live on Facebook and which will be available to view afterwards on our website.

You can watch the Q&A live on our Facebook page at 12.30pm on Tuesday, where you'll also be able to comment live with any new questions you would like us to ask.
