With English orchards springing into blossom and the first ever Full Bloom festival starting this Sunday (25 April), we're marking the occasion by collecting photographs of blossoming trees. Send your images to our Flickr group and environmenttheguardian.com will run a gallery of your best.

The festival, run by the National Trust and Natural England, is a celebration of the beauty and biodiversity of orchards which are a haven for wildlife, particularly bees, and have been having a hard time of things in recent years.

Kate Merry, who runs the Traditional Orchard project, says the festival and project hope to "halt the decline in traditional orchards". For the sake of UK wildlife and beauty, I hope they do.
