Things that go bump in the night, ghostly footsteps or ghastly apparitions … With Halloween just round the corner, we’re steeling ourselves to hear about haunted day trip locations around the UK, be they pubs, ancient monuments or other “attractions”, particularly if they have a horrific history attached.
