Send next Everton manager message after Carlo Ancelotti joins Real Madrid

Everton are on the hunt for a new manager after Carlo Ancelotti left the club to join Real Madrid.

Ancelotti has signed a three-year contract with the La Liga giants after his Goodison Park exit was confirmed on Tuesday evening.

In a statement released by the club, the Blues have thanked the three-time Champions League winner for his time at the club which began in December 2019.

Everton have also confirmed that they will begin the search for Ancelotti's successor "immediately" as they look to prepare for the new season which starts in August.

Speaking on his exit, Ancelotti said: “I would like to thank the Board of Directors, the players, and the Evertonians for the tremendous support they have all given me during my time at the Club.

“I have complete respect for everyone associated with Everton and hope they can achieve the exciting opportunities they have in front of them.

“While I have enjoyed being at Everton I have been presented with an unexpected opportunity which I believe is the right move for me and my family at this time.”

Former Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo is currently the bookies favourite at 13/5 to replace Ancelotti at Everton.

Closely following Nuno in the betting is former Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe, who is priced at 3/1.

Elsewhere in the betting, former Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez is currently 8/1 and is the third favourite for the job.
