Two more efforts for the Senate to adjourn have failed. Republican Sen. John Kennedy proposed a motion to adjourn until May 1, which did not succeed on a party-line 49-51 vote. The Senate also voted against another motion to adjourn until November 6. GOP Sen. Roger Marshall argued it would have allowed the American people to have a vote on this issue.
