All small businesses can save money in the short-term through smarter energy choices. There are also changes that require an investment upfront, but will impact substantially on the firm’s bottom line in years to come. So just how do you balance this outlay with the results? Furthermore, could sustainability be a selling point for your business? Could small businesses be making money from their waste?
Efficiency isn’t just about energy. It also includes how SMEs are managing their staff and resources. Are they making the right managerial choices?
As for technology – is your business using it in the best way possible? Is it becoming too much of a time-drain? And how can technology make the business more efficient?
The seminar will be hosted and chaired by Jo Confino, executive editor, Guardian News and Media. A full page write-up of the discussion will also be published in the business section of the newspaper on 14 November as well as online on the Small Business Network on the same date.
