Selston road reopens hours after 2 people die in crash

A road in Selston has reopened following a three-car crash in which two people died.

Nottinghamshire Police closed the B600 at around 10.18am on Saturday, December 19, as a result of the serious incident which happened at Jubilee Hill.

The force says a man and a woman were pronounced dead at the scene, while another woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

A man has also been taken to hospital as a precaution.

On Sunday, December 20 at around 7am, Nottinghamshire Police confirmed the road had since reopened.

A spokesman said: "The incident has now closed on our side and the road has now reopened."

Inspector Hayley Crawford, of Nottinghamshire Police, added: “This is an incredibly sad incident that has resulted in two people losing their lives and one person in a critical condition.

“We are now working hard to establish the circumstances and I would appeal to anyone who has any information, witnessed the incident or has any dashcam footage to get in touch as soon as possible.

“Our thoughts are with the families of the man and the woman who have died.”
