Netflix's Selling Sunset spinoff Selling the OC launched its season 3 in May 2024, marking the return of the Newport Beach branch of the Oppenheim Group and capping off several cliffhangers from season 2. Unsurprisingly, season 3 found a way to up the drama from its previous installments to sometimes hilarious and mildly controversial levels. Countless fans have flocked to social media to share their commentary on everything from Alex Hall and Tyler Stanaland's failure to launch to Sean Palmieri's divisive allegations, and that's before we get into the major developments that went down after cameras stopped filming.
Still, the question remains whether the Selling the OC cast will return for a fourth season and what it would even look like after some major cast departures. Read on for everything we know about a possible Selling the OC season 4.
Has 'Selling the OC' been renewed for season 4?
Fans were in limbo about the future of Selling the OC for quite some time, but in January 2025, Netflix officially renewed the reality show for a fourth season. The decision came nearly eight months after season 3 hit streaming.
Along with the renewal, Selling the OC creator Adam DiVello shared a statement. "A lot has changed in the real lives of those agents since season 3, so it’s exciting to get back down there," he said, as reported by Deadline. The showrunner added that the agents fans know and love "are just crushing it," but viewers can expect to see "a lot of new faces," too.
When will 'Selling the OC' season 4 come out?
In mid-July, Netflix revealed Selling the OC will return on Wednesday, November 12. The series was likely filmed during winter 2025, considering it was in production when Netflix confirmed a season 4 renewal in January.
Who in the cast of 'Selling the OC' will return for season 4?
When Netflix announced the season 4 premiere date, the streamer confirmed the returning cast will include Jason Oppenheim, Alex Hall, Polly Brindle, Tyler Stanaland, Gio Helou, Austin Victoria, and Brandi Marshall.
As for the names who won't be back, there had been a few major shakeups at The O Group since season 3 completed filming in summer 2023.
The office is now down one Alexandra, with Alexandra Jarvis deciding to leave the brokerage. In an April 2024 interview with PEOPLE, Jarvis opened up about her departure from The O Group "several months ago."
"There were a lot of factors that went into my decision," she said, before mentioning the "toxic culture" exhibited by some of her castmates.
“I don't really think anyone's surprised by [my departure],” Jarvis added. “I don't really know what to say about it other than I just know when it's time to leave a party.”
Meanwhile, in perhaps less of a surprise after his tumultuous season, Sean Palmieri announced his departure from The O Group in November 2023. In a statement to Entertainment Weekly, the realtor said that leaving the brokerage was purely a "business move," which he was "really excited" to make.
"Unfortunately, The Oppenheim Group was not a culture fit for me," Palmieri shared, also revealing to the outlet that he would now work out of San Diego County.
Interestingly enough, Tyler Stanaland previously announced his departure in October 2023—but he's still among the ensemble. It's unclear whether the show will explore this, but he had plans to leave the group to work alongside his father and brother, after considering a switch during season 3. (Tyler had worked with his father for 12 years before moving to The O Group in November 2021.) He even told PEOPLE at the time that he would no longer appear in the series, but clearly plans have changed.
Are there any new cast members in 'Selling the OC' season 4?
There's about to be some fresh faces in the office! Netflix confirmed three new agents will be featured in season 4: Fiona Belle, Ashtyn Zerboni, and Kaylee Ricciardi.
According to Tudum, Ashtyn is a model/actress who previously studied biology before landing a gig at The Oppenheim Group, where she now works in La Jolla and Orange County. The agent is "known for her commitment to personalized service and leveraging her thriving social network to unlock exclusive opportunities for her clients."
As for Fiona, the 23-year-old agent hails from Orange County and is a newcomer to The O Group, having joined in 2024. Still, Tudum reports she's already closed million-dollar deals and has "always been dedicated to the grind, as a first-generation college student, who graduated cum laude from UC San Diego."
Kaylee, meanwhile, has worked in the business for 13 years. She's lived everywhere from New England to Colorado to Spain and has experience in "event-based rentals and production work for top-tier clients," in addition to buying and selling.
