Selling Sunset's Jason says 'there is no place' for Christine Quinn at The Oppenheim Group

Jason Oppenheim has opened up about Christine Quinn's future at The Oppenheim Group in Selling Sunset: The Reunion.

The cast of the hit Netflix show came together to discuss the events of Season 5, but Christine was noticeably absent from the get together.

Fans will know that towards the end of Season 5, Emma Hernan claimed that an associate of Christine's offered to pay Emma's client £5,000 to not work with her.

Emma believes the bribe was real, but Christine denied it and said: "I don't know why Emma is, once again, trying to make me look bad and stir the pot and make up lies about me."

During the reunion, Jason told host Tan France: "I spoke to him in person, well I should say over the phone, and I know the gentleman, I've met him and I asked him many follow up questions and he was very clear about exactly what happened.

"So, I would love to hear Christine's explanation, I do believe there are sides to stories but at the same time, I don't think it's for debate that she did this," he continued.

"So we've texted and we haven't really addressed this situation. I mean, she hasn't reached out to talk about it. I know that she has some thoughts on it..."

When Tan asked about her role at the brokerage, Jason replied: "I mean, right now, there's not a place for her at The Oppenheim Group.

"Now, in the future, if she takes real estate seriously, if I can get an understanding of her perspective on things and she changes her behaviour, if she brings in a big listing...

"There's a lot of reasons where I would consider her having a place at The Oppenheim Group, but I have to say that right now, there is no place," he added.

His comments come after Christine announced that she has launched her own company RealOpen.com.

Sharing an article on her Instagram page, she said: "Why work for someone else when you can be your own CEO? It took over a year of hard work and tenacity to create this platform and patent-pending technology to revolutionize the housing market.

"My Boss B*tch manifesto is don’t STOP until you are the Boss of your own life. YOU and only you control your storyline. It was a moon shot, and now it’s a reality. Crypto is the new global financial system. Why ride the wave, when you can help create it."

She added: "We work with buyers, sellers, and agents. Don’t get left behind…"

Selling Sunset Seasons 1-5 are available to watch on Netflix now.
