Selling Sunset's Chrishell Stause wants maiden name back after Justin Hartley split

Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause wants to put her marriage behind her and return to her maiden name.

The 38-year-old actress split from This Is Us star Justin Hartley eight months ago when he filed for divorce, citing 'irreconcilable differences'.

According to The Blast, Chrishell has now filed court documents to return to her maiden name and remove 'Hartley' from her name.

The move comes after Chrishell lashed out at her Selling Sunset co-star Christine Quinn after comments the latter made about Chrishell's marriage to Hartley.

Christine had claimed in an interview on Monday that Chrishell's marriage had been in trouble for months prior to Hartley filing for divorce.

Christine told Page Six: "We all just thought maybe they were having communication problems for a while.

"We heard that they were in therapy, so obviously there were some issues going on with them."

Christine also revealed that Chrishell's marriage to Justin won't play out on-screen as they wished to keep the matter "private".

The comments from Christine prompted an outburst of anger from Chrishell on Twitter.

The actress tweeted: "I just learned Christine is giving press 'information' about my divorce.

"Let me be VERY clear. She knows absolutely nothing about the situation and is obviously desperate to gain attention by doing so.

"Anything from her is either a complete lie or total conjecture on her part."

Chrishell then added: "It's so frustrating and unfortunate that someone would use someone's personal painful situation to get press for themselves.

"I can't say I am surprised, but please check the source.

"She has absolutely zero knowledge of the marriage we had."

The star has also blocked Christine on Instagram, citing the latter's "toxic insults and toxic energy".

Speaking on Radio One's The Reality Tea podcast, Chrishell said: "I have her blocked. And it's one of those things where I think that's that does come across very childish and ridiculous, tut I have the screenshots.

"She knows why she's blocked. I'm sure she hopes that I never show you guys why she's blocked, because it would be embarrassing to her."
