Move over pumpkin spice lattes, there’s a new autumnal treat in town.
Snowflake at Selfridges has gone all out this season, offering a vegan pumpkin pie ice cream served in a real pumpkin.
Taking inspiration from the success of the avocado gelato — an avocado ice cream served in a real avocado shell — the team have adapted the concept for Halloween.
The pumpkin pie gelato is made from baked pumpkin, soya milk, coconut cream, fruit syrup, cinnamon and various other spices, then served in a tiny pumpkin.
To top it off, the ice cream is sprinkled with pumpkin seeds and gingerbread biscuit crumbs. There’s also a vegan cream available for those feeling particularly indulgent.
The tasty treat will be available in the store until November 26, so will be on offer over the pumpkin-fuelled American holiday Thanksgiving.
Dessert fans can get their hands on the hefty ice cream for £9.50 a pop.
