A dad of three died after a 20-year battle with a debilitating disease.
Eddie Roberts lived in Bootle his entire life and was diagnosed with Becker muscular dystrophy when he was 21.
Eddie became reliant upon a wheelchair by the time he was 36, when he lost control of his legs.

Alisha Kelly, Eddie's only daughter, told the ECHO her dad was 'full of life', in a touching tribute to him.
She said: "He was so amazing, no one has a bad word to say about him. He was such a selfless man and so caring. For how ill he was, he never let that get to him, he never let it get him down.
"He never complained about it once and with how sick he was, he was so entitled to moan about it constantly but he never did. He was the least selfish person ever."
Eddie struggled with other health problems in the lead up to his death, including a collapsed lung which meant he was in and out of hospital.
"We just thought he would be in Southport Hospital for while but then he took a turn for the worse so they took him to Liverpool Heart and Chest hospital where the doctors told us there was nothing they could do.
"It then took him five or six days before he passed."
