'Selfish' driver shamed by hilarious note left on windscreen after pavement parking

A passerby who saw a car parked completely over a pavement left a sarcastic note on the 'selfish' driver's window.

In a video posted online, the person, who wishes to remain anonymous, filmed themselves placing the hilarious note onto the blue Toyota Yaris' windscreen.

The note, which was hand written is titled “Colouring for toddlers!” and shows the outline of a duck.

It reads: “(can a pram fit through?) (can a wheelchair fit through?)”

“Colour this in to help you learn how to stay in the lines. Park properly, d*******!”

The message was left on the vehicle parked on Blenhiem Road, Mossley Hill earlier today, Friday, April 23.

Speaking to the Echo, the frustrated resident said: “I don’t mind that people park up on the kerb, but when it completely obstructs the pavement that a wheelchair user or pram can't get through, it's an annoyance, selfish and rude.”

The video caused a stir online with many commenting in support of the resident’s approach to tackling pavement parking.

One person said: “Well done for this, absolutely sick of walking my pram into the road because people park so inconsiderately!”

Another commented: “Brilliant. Well done!! Some people are so selfish when parking.”

A third person added: “So inconsiderate. Why would anyone think it ok to force people to go onto the road to get past.”

Would you have done the same thing? Let us know in the comments
