Self-proclaimed 'free speech warrior' Posie Parker to host demonstration in Leeds this weekend

Standing for Women founder Kellie-Jay Keen - known by her pseudonym Posie Parker - is set to host a demonstration in Leeds to protest 'threats to free speech'.

The self-proclaimed 'free speech warrior' says the event aims to 'create space for women to speak without fear' and 'take back the public square one corner at a time'.

The event will take place on Sunday, September 20 at 12.30pm in Victoria Square in the city centre.

In a statement, Kellie claimed women were being censored on social media by 'billionaire technocrats'.

The demonstration will be supported by Leeds ReSisters, a women's rights group who 'stand against female erasure'.
