Babe, wake up: Selena Gomez’s wedding pics have finally arrived, and they’re every bit as enchanting as you’d imagine!
The pop star officially tied the knot with fellow musician Benny Blanco this weekend, completing the nuptials at a star-studded ceremony in Santa Barbara on Sunday (AUS time).
While official details were largely kept under wraps (save for a few gossipy whispers), Gomez has now taken us behind the scenes of her big day with a loved-up carousel shared on Instagram.
The gorgeous pics — taken in a lush green garden — see Gomez sporting a shoulder-baring satin gown while holding her bouquet, with Blanco in a black tuxedo and matching bowtie.
Some snaps show the pair embracing, sharing a kiss or frolicking in the grass, while others are reserved solely for the little details like Gomez’s ring, her lace-bound flowers and an assortment of Polaroids that I might just frame for my own collection.
Naturally, Gomez captioned the post with the date of their wedding day and two simple white heart emojis.
The IG dump comes after reports of the guest list for the wedding, which apparently counted Paul Rudd, Lana Del Rey, and longtime bestie Taylor Swift as attendees.
Gomez’s Only Murders in the Building co-stars Martin Short and Steve Martin were also thought to be in attendance, as well as Paris Hilton and Nicky Hilton.
As for the event itself, we got a few morsels of intel about the ceremony earlier this week, including rumours it was held at a private residential venue, and that guests were driven there blindly from a nearby hotel Gomez had booked for them.
When Swift is among the attendees, the security better be tight, which is why the newlyweds reportedly amped up the security detail in the days leading up to the wedding and instituted a no-phones policy to keep things hush-hush.
Gomez and Blanco got engaged in December of last year after about a year of dating. The pop stars announced their engagement on Instagram, and have basically been the manifestation of couple goals ever since.
It’s one of multiple celebrity weddings we’ve vicariously been invited to in recent times, with Charli xcx’s Sicily ceremony overrunning our timelines earlier this month and Lana Del Rey sharing BTS shots of her own nuptials just this week.
Love is in the air, and it smells pretty damn good!
