Selena Gomez 'defends fan and SHOUTS at security guard' during Beyoncé’s world tour

American singer and actress Selena Gomez angrily shouted at a security guard during Beyoncé’s world tour - with social media users claiming that she was defending a fan.

The 30-year-old Texas-born songstress has shown her support for Beyoncé, who is currently touring the world and performing to masses of fans.

But as well as fans being in attendance at Bey's shows, celebrities are turning out to see the superstar perform too.

On Friday Selena Gomez was one of the celebrities who attended Stade de France in Paris, France to witness the Halo singer put on an incredible show to her adoring fanbase.

But prior to Bey stepping out on-stage, all eyes were on Selena when she was seemingly embroiled in a heated conversation.

Seen talking to a security guard, in footage shared online by a fan who witnessed the exchange, Selena looked less than impressed.

Many fans claim that a fan was trying to make contact with Selena, with the security guard handling the situation in a way that didn't sit well with the singer.

A fan account for Selena shared the video and claimed that the security guard "violently pushed a fan", hence the heated exchange.

While another alleged: "Selena was yelling to security guard, he mistreated the fans."

There are no statements from Selena's team regarding the matter and it is currently unclear as to who the security guard was employed by - Beyoncé, the venue or Selena.

Mirror US has reached out to Selena's representatives for comment.

This comes after Selena supported yet another female musician - her close friend Taylor Swift.

Selena attended The Eras Tour with her little sister, Gracie, on April 1 in Arlington, Texas, at the AT&T Stadium.

After attending the show, Selena shared some snaps on her Instagram page and wrote: "Thank you, bestie, for having me and my sissy transported into your mystical, euphoric, and special world. Proud to know you! Love you forever and always."
