Scottish poet and artist Ian Hamilton Finlay pays passionate homage to the classical tradition in his modern mythological garden. Finlay died in 2006 and left behind an art garden whose sculptures collide ancient Greece and Rome with modern history. The god Pan gets mixed up with Panzer tanks. Apollo is celebrated for his violence.
