See yourself as a Disney prince or princess? Disneyland Paris is hiring

Do you think you have the ability to charm the birds from the trees?

To stir a Sleeping Beauty from slumber with true love's kiss?

Does the idea of brightening children's lives with a smile and a song warm your heart?

Then we might have found the perfect job for you.

Disney is looking for character actors to play its famous princes and princesses at Disneyland Paris.

Year after year, holidaymakers flock to the resort to make memories, and photographs with special characters take pride of place in family albums.

You could be the star of them, dressing up as your favourite characters and making guests' holidays memorable.

It's not just princes and princesses that Disney is looking for, either.

They're on the hunt for Marvel superheroes too.

Your job will be to appear at Disneyland's famous parades and cavalcades, attractions that have enthralled visitors to the French themepark for more than 25 years.

According to the website, Disney is looking for actors with 'distinguishing characteristics' to participate, asking they have a basic dance level.

They say that all character look-alike performers also perform as costume characters, so even if you have the dashing looks of Prince Charming, you may be required to don a massive plush head every now and then.

They ask that females measure between 160cm-173cm (that's just over 5ft2 and under 5ft7) and that men are at least 160cm and no taller than around 6ft (183cm).

Both are required to have 'no visual tattoos'.

The site asks that females have "elegance graceful qualities" [sic] while men have "compelling masculine features".

The open auditions will take place at Dance Ireland in Dublin on June 8 at 10:15am.

There'll be extra auditions at 11.45am for those measuring somewhere between 137cm-160cm, and taller talent between 183cm-196cm.

Disney says they'll be looking to fill 50 full-time positions, as well as seasonal roles starting between June and September for a minimum of three months.

There's the possibility that they'll put you up (though probably not the the castle), and all auditionees must be at least 18 years old and able to speak English or French.
