See this year's Charity Awards prizes

Each of the five winning charities will each be awarded:

  • A £3000 prize fund, kindly donated by awards partner Zurich
  • Free iPad mini, courtesy of Jigsaw24
  • A day of business mentoring support and training with Zurich Insurance

- Zurich Insurance is offering a day of business mentoring to the each of the winners of these charity awards.
- The session will be conducted by a member of the Charities Management Team, and will cover risk management, commercial practices and business continuity planning.
- The day will be held in London and where possible the session will be tailored to the requirements of the winning charities.

  • One year’s free NCVO membership, for those organisations that are not already a member
  • A tailored package of support from the FSI including:

- a full Life Stage Assessment to determine the next priorities for your organisation’s development
- up to 14 hours (2 days) bespoke mentoring support on your charity’s identified development needs
- preferential free places on FSI training days and conferences
- access to preferential places on the FSI advice clinics
- access to fundraising opportunities and the FSI’s full suite of small charity support

  • A personalised package of communications support from Media Trust:

- An in-depth consultation on your training needs and one full day or two half days of expert media, marketing, digital and comms training
- A hand-picked match with at least one highly-skilled media volunteer to give the charity one-to-one communications and marketing support and places on future speed matching events

  • Option to attend a full day of tailored trustee training for up to five members from each of the winning charities from Bates Wells Braithwaite

- The trustee training will be structured over a day and will be tailored to cover the requirements of the charities, but can include trustees’ duties and responsibilities, role of the trustee board, trustee recruitment and induction, delegation, mitigating liabilities, the Code of Good Governance and dealing with the Charity Commission.
- BWB will do one day of training for all winners that wish to attend. BWB will offer three dates to all winners and the most popular will be the chosen date.
- BWB will contribute a maximum of £500 per charity for travel expenses in total, if the charity is outside of London. To be eligible for reimbursement, train fares must be booked at a standard fare and booked in advance.
- BWB will co-ordinate with one named contact at each charity for logistics and travel, who will send a global amount for reimbursement.
