Friday night saw the annual Miss Newcastle competition draw to a close.
It was a night of glitz and glamour at the County Hotel as 12 girls competed for the crown.
A massive £22,785 was raised for the Sunshine Fund in the process, with all the competitors tasked with raising funds.
Over 300 hopefuls applied for the competition, which is sponsored by the Gainford Group.
The night had a Greek theme and the beauty queens emerged to applause as they walked down the catwalk.
Sunshine Fund director Siobhan Sargeant said "all the girls are winners" as she introduced the event.
20-year-old Rebecca Gormley from East Howdon, North Tyneside, was victorious in 2018.
